MEIMELALI.COM: Bali Village Officials Shut Down Spa Operations After Recent Incident.
Seminyak Village Officials have forced Coconut Spa to stop their operations after the owner, Ni Ketut Darmini filed a report to the police for getting assaulted by an expat a few weeks ago.
As The Bali Sun previously reported, Darmini filed a report to the police department after getting assaulted by an expat when she confronted him in front of his villa in Seminyak for allegedly forcing one of her massage therapists to perform explicit acts in his villa. A video of her being assaulted has also gone viral on social media which is receiving a lot of support online.
But unfortunately instead of receiving justice, Darmini had to accept the fact that her business was forced to close down by the village officials in her area in Seminyak. “The spa business that had been operating for 4 years to support the living of all our staff was forced to close down by the officials from Banjar Basangkasa and Seminyak village.” Darmini said.
Meanwhile, the suspect who harassed and assaulted the masseuse is still walking free and untouched. The man is also known to be able to speak the local language quite fluently as he also cussed at the masseuse using Balinese language. Officials from the Immigration office said that they don’t have any authority to handle this case as it’s the responsibility of the police department. The authorities from the Kuta Police Department haven’t yet responded regarding this incident.
