The Bali Health Agency and Indonesian Shopping Mall Management Association (APPBI Bali) have decided to start distributing Covid-19 vaccines to all shopping mall workers in Bali.
The Manager of Level 21 Mall Denpasar, Zenzen Guisi Halmis stated that as an effort to revive the tourism sector in Bali, Zenzen showed his commitment by providing a vaccination site inside Level 21 Mall. “Our main vaccination target is the shopping mall workers across Bali as they usually have direct contact with customers while working.” Zenzen said on Monday (17/5).
He explained that during the first phase of vaccination, around 1400 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine will be distributed to all shopping mall workers that were registered at APPBI Bali such as Level 21 Mall, Trans Studio Mall, Duta Plaza, Plaza Renon, Bali Collection, Beach Walk, Benoa Square, Discovery Shopping Mall, Jimbaran Sidewalk, Lippo Plaza Sunset Road, Lippo Plaza, Seminya Village, Park 23 and Samasta.
“Thanks to the government officials from Bali Health Agency, I Putu Astawa, APPBI Bali, Police Department and Military Officers who have attended our vaccination site and supported our first vaccination program here.” Zenzen added.
The program will be held from the 17th to 18th of May 2021, targeting to distribute around 700 doses of the vaccines per day. “For those who want to receive the vaccine, they can simply register themself through the website. They’re required to show their ID and the work statement letter upon arrival.” Zenzen concluded. He also mentioned that people must be in a healthy condition prior to their vaccination, and that they’re required to stay around 30 minutes afterwards to observe any side effects after the injection.
