MEIMELALI.COM: 4 Businesses Closed Down For Violating The Emergency Partial Lockdown In Bali.
Two fitness centers and two beauty salons in Denpasar have been closed down by Bali authorities for violating the emergency partial lockdown policy.
The Head of the Denpasar Civil Service Officer, I Dewa Gede Anom Sayoga confirmed that the four businesses that are located on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Denpasar were creating a crowd during operation and were closed down as a result. “Among all the businesses on Jalan Gatot Subroto Barat and Gatot Subroto Tengah, four of them were temporarily closed down for violating the partial lockdown rules.” Sayoga said on Wednesday (7/7).
He explained that those businesses have violated regulation as many people were gathered and made it impossible to carry out physical distancing while operating their businesses. “The four businesses were the Royal Gym, Devil Gym, Menik Salon and Resort Luxury Salon were sanctioned as they have created a crowd and were not carrying out proper social distancing during their operation.” Sayoga added. He reminds everyone to always comply with the government’s instruction, especially during the partial lockdown as Covid-19 cases keep on surging in recent days in Denpasar.
Meanwhile, during the operation to inspect the implementation of the emergency partial lockdown in several areas in Denpasar on Tuesday, authorities also spotted multiple people who were neglecting prevention protocols. During our operation, six people were caught for not wearing face masks properly in public areas. Five of them were only punished with push-ups, the other was fined for not having a face mask.” Sayoga concluded. He also reminds people to keep complying with the current partial lockdown policy by reducing how much they go out into public places to prevent Covid-19 cases from surging in the Denpasar area.
